There has been an increase in the number of vulnerabilities - from 45 to 147 - discovered in the 5 most popular PDF readers: Adobe Reader, Foxit Reader, PDFXChange Viewer, Sumatra PDF and Nitro PDF Reader

147 vulnerabilities were discovered in the 5 most popular PDF readers in 2015.

45 vulnerabilities were discovered in the 5 most popular PDF readers in 2014.

At 77%, Adobe Reader has the lion share of the market, and the largest amount of known vulnerabilities in 2015. 42% of the users leave it unpatched.

Foxit Reader had 14 vulnerabilities. PDFXChange Viewer, Nitro PDF Reader and Sumatra PDF each had 0.
