New Operational Dashboard—The new operational dashboard in FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications provides an out-of-the-box, near real-time license management reporting interface, Key components include:

The dashboard reports both FlexEnabled and LUM application status and provides quick, at-a-glance views into your daily operations.  The Operational Dashboard is customizable by view and by user, allowing the creation of 'my dashboard' by each FlexNet Manager user.

Track and Report on LUM-enabled Applications—If your organization relies on CATIA, ENOVIA SmarTeam, and other LUM-enabled applications, you can now use FlexNet Manager to report on and optimize these licenses too - all within a single interface and workflow. FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications has workflow integration with LUM license servers.  This provides the ability to capture license information from LUM servers, monitor status of these servers and schedule regular log file captures to feed into the FlexNet Manager reporting system. The new user interface allows you to select LUM servers and set the import schedule. 

Common Report Log —FlexNet Manager 14.1 introduces Common Report Log functionality. This new functionality enables enterprises to define a report log format and import it using FlexNet Manager interface or at the command line. This functionality enables enterprises to import non-FlexNet (and non-LUM) report logs for usage reporting and tracking purposes. FlexNet Manager provides comprehensive reporting across your engineering and technical applications and enables you to do consolidated planning for your enterprise-wide software licensing needs.

New Command Line Reporting Options
The License Servers (-LS) option is used to simplify batch reporting to relevant license server (typically used for unique reporting by geography or department). The Vendor Daemons (-VD) option is used to simplify batch reporting to relevant vendors and applications by category or vendor.

FlexNet Manager Platform Integration
FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications v. 14.2 has been integrated with the FlexNet Manager Platform to allow use of the common Executive Dashboard reporting function. The Dashboard reports license compliance for Engineering Applications showing Purchased, Consumed and Used licenses.

This functionality enables enterprises to import non-FlexNet (and non-LUM) report logs for usage reporting and tracking purposes.
