Certification - Software License Optimization
Flexera Software provides certification programs for IT professionals. Our certification program enables customers and partners to become proficient using Flexera Software next generation software asset management products and to support implementations. Upon passing the certification test, the individual will receive a certificate to validate their Flexera Software certification level.
Benefits of Certification
Once certified, the individual can be confident that they properly understand the product they are certified on and are in a position to offer advice and guidance to their peers; for the organization, management can be assured their staff is qualified to support and work with the product. Flexera Software certifications are an acknowledgment that the student has mastered a specific product offering and/or skill set from Flexera Software.
Requirements for Certification
Certification is based on a combination of training and assessment tasks. To become certified, an individual would need to
- Attend official Flexera Software training for a particular product or service
- Study and practice on the particular product or service
- Register and take an online certification test
Certification tests are available for the following:
- Certified FlexNet Manager Platform Operator
- Certified FlexNet Manager Platform Implementation Specialist
- Certified FlexNet Manager Platform License Practitioner

The tests are timed tests taken online, usually lasting from 60-90 minutes. You will have three tries to pass the test before having to register again. Passing scores are between 70% and 80% depending on the difficulty of the test.
