InstallAnywhere 2008

Announced: June 1, 2010

On June 1, 2010, Flexera Software announced the end of life of InstallAnywhere 2008, including all English and Japanese language editions. Flexera Software no longer accepts new orders for InstallAnywhere 2008.

To stay current with the latest Flexera Software release, InstallAnywhere 2008 users who are not on a maintenance or subscription plan can purchase the latest version of InstallAnywhere by November 30, 2010 and still be eligible for upgrade pricing. If you purchase after November 30, 2010, you will only be eligible for new license pricing.

Technical support for InstallAnywhere 2008 will end on June 1, 2011. Customers who currently have active maintenance plans for InstallAnywhere 2008 will receive technical support through the end of their respective contracts.

InstallAnywhere 8

On June 18, 2009, Flexera Software announced the end of life of InstallAnywhere 8, including all English and Japanese language editions. As of June 30, 2009, Flexera Software no longer accepts new orders for InstallAnywhere 8.

To stay current with the latest Flexera Software release, InstallAnywhere 8 users who are not on maintenance can purchase the latest version of InstallShield (for Windows support) or InstallAnywhere (for multiplatform support).

Technical support for InstallAnywhere 8 will end on June 30, 2010. Customers who currently have maintenance plans for InstallAnywhere 12 will receive technical support through the end of their respective contracts.

InstallAnywhere German and French Language Editions All Versions

Announced: June 2, 2009

On June 2, 2009, Flexera Software announced the end of life of all InstallAnywhere German and French language Enterprise Editions versions 8, 2008, 2008 VP1, and 2009, and InstallAnywhere Collaboration German and French Editions. As of July 31, 2009, Flexera Software no longer accepts new orders for InstallAnywhere German and French Editions.

To stay current with the latest Flexera Software release, InstallAnywhere German and French users who are not on maintenance can purchase the latest English version of InstallShield (for Windows support) or InstallAnywhere (for multiplatform support).

Technical support for InstallAnywhere German and French Editions will end on June 1, 2010. Customers who currently have maintenance plans for InstallAnywhere German and French Editions will receive technical support through the end of their respective contracts.

Announced: August 27, 2008

On August 27, 2008, Flexera Software announced the end-of-life of InstallAnywhere 7.x.

As of August 27, 2008, Flexera Software no longer accepts new orders for InstallAnywhere 7.x. To stay current with the latest Flexera Software release, InstallAnywhere 7.x users need to purchase a new license of InstallAnywhere at the regular full license price.

Technical support for InstallAnywhere 7.x ended on August 27, 2009. Customers who currently have maintenance for InstallAnywhere 7.x will receive technical support through the end of their contract.

InstallAnywhere 6

Announced: September 28, 2007

On September 28, 2007, Flexera Software announced the end-of-life of InstallAnywhere 6.

As of September 28, 2007 Flexera Software no longer accepts new orders for InstallAnywhere 6. InstallAnywhere 6 customers had until December 31, 2007 to upgrade to the latest version of InstallAnywhere.

Technical support for InstallAnywhere 6 ended on September 28, 2008. Customers who currently have maintenance for InstallAnywhere 6 will receive technical support through the end of their contract.

InstallAnywhere 6 users can purchase the latest version of InstallAnywhere at the regular price.  The upgrade pricing for these customers expired on December 31, 2007.
