Life Cycle and End-of-Life Notices

On 19-Nov-09, Flexera Software announced that it will discontinue supporting FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications v1.9.5 and earlier versions on 19-Nov-10.

Maintenance Contract Holders:
Customers will get a migration period of one year to move to higher versions of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications. During this time Flexera Software will only address the most critical issues. If there is a particular issue in versions earlier than 1.9.5, it will only be addressed in the latest version.

Customers on Maintenance, Who Choose not to Upgrade:
Customers who choose not to upgrade to FlexNet Manager version 11 or higher, will have their current product version supported up to 19-Nov-10. Beyond this date, Flexera Software will no longer support customers on FlexNet Manager v1.9.5 and earlier versions.

Existing Customers Not on Maintenance, Who Choose to Upgrade:
Customers who own FlexNet Manager version 1.9.5 or below, and are currently not on a maintenance plan may purchase the latest FlexNet Manager at the full license price. Maintenance Plans are only available for current products and can only be purchased with a current Flexera Software product. New Maintenance Plans cannot be purchased separately.

After this date, no further fixes to FlexNet Manager v1.9.5 and earlier versions are planned.

This is the date on which Flexera Software will cease to provide services for FlexNet Manager v1.9.5 and earlier versions under existing maintenance contracts or on a time-and-materials basis.

Effective 19-Nov-09, all versions of FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications up to version 1.9.5 will enter the End of Life (EOL) program. This includes v1.0 up to v1.9.5. FlexNet Manager v11 through v14 are not included in this EOL announcement.

When does the EOL date take effect?
Flexera Software announced the EOL for FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications pre-v1.9.5 on 19-Nov-09.

As of 19-Nov-09, customers will have 12 months to move to higher supported versions of FlexNet Manager.
