FlexNet Operations and GTL End-of-Life Notices

FlexNet Operations 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2 Announcement
On August 1, 2008, Flexera Software announced the end-of-life of FlexNet Operations 8.0, 8.1, and 8.2.

Support for these versions will be available to all customers on maintenance until July 31, 2009. Customers using these older versions of FlexNet Operations are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest product version - FlexNet Operations V12.

Please Note:

Maintenance Contract Holders
Customers with valid maintenance contracts will receive support for 12 months (until July 31, 2009). During this time Flexera Software will only address critical issues.

Customers on Maintenance, Who Choose not to Upgrade
Customers who choose not to upgrade to FlexNet Operations version 8.3 or higher, will have their current product version supported up to July 31, 2009. Beyond this date, Flexera Software will no longer support customers on FlexNet Operations 8.2 and earlier versions.

Existing Customers Not on Maintenance, Who Choose to Upgrade   
Customers on FlexNet Operations 8.2 or below, and are currently not on a maintenance plan may choose to become current on maintenance in order to upgrade to the latest version.   Maintenance Plans are only available for current products.

After this date, no further fixes to FlexNet Operations 8.2 and earlier versions are planned.

End of Support
This is the date on which Flexera Software will cease to provide bug fixes for FlexNet Operations 8.2 and earlier versions under existing maintenance contracts or on a time-and-materials basis.

GTL – all versions EOL notice

The End of Life of all versions of the legacy license management solution, GTL was announced in March 2007. 

Support for GTL customers will be available to all customers on maintenance until December 31, 2010. Customers using this product are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest product - FlexNet Operations V12 which offers significant improvements over GTL. Flexera Softwarehas provided sufficient time to allow for all remaining customers to engage Flexera Software’s Global Consulting Services (GCS) to perform migration assessments. At the conclusion of the assessment, the customer will have time in their budgeting cycle for any migration services that will be required to make the move to upgrade to FlexNet Operations.  Finally, after both the assessment and funding, the time remaining will allow the customer to make the migration from GTL to FlexNet Operations.
