Flexera Software Announces New Company Headquarters in Itasca, IL

One of Chicago Tribune’s Top 100 workplaces opens new state of the art office to accommodate growing high-tech workforce

Itasca, IL - March 18, 2014 Flexera Software, the leading provider of Application Usage Management solutions for application producers and enterprises, today announced the move of the company headquarters from Schaumburg, IL to Itasca, IL. The move to the new 75,000 square foot office was motivated by Flexera Software’s need for space to accommodate its expanding Illinois-based team, which is expected to grow to more than 300 local employees by the end of the year.

This local move reflects Flexera Software's confidence in the Chicago metropolitan region's ability to furnish the best and brightest minds to grow its business. As the "Silicon Prairie" continues its expansion to include global brands like Flexera Software, Groupon and GrubHub, the region offers a rich ecosystem of "A-list" talent.

"Flexera Software has been a tech-leader in our district since 2008 and a strong employment engine for our high-tech professionals," said Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, representative for Illinois's 8th Congressional District. Flexera Software's new space is twice as large as its previous headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. An open reception area and loft provides a spacious modern touch in keeping with a high-tech software atmosphere. Designed to foster collaboration, the new home to Flexera Software is retrofitted with workstation groupings, organized into "neighborhoods" to strategically place employees, departments and teams together for enhanced communication and optimal interaction. A Nexus café provides a focal point for social interactions and casual meetings.

The company will go from eight conference rooms in the current office to more than 25 in the new headquarters on March 1, 2014, ranging from small to large facilities that can accommodate large collaboration teams. Every conference room will be equipped with large flat panel screens or projectors to better facilitate presentations and sharing work.
